Amir’s Latest Album C Amir

French singer Amir released a new album, C Amir (it’s Amir). The themes are soul-searching, love, hope, heartbreak, and life’s journey.

The music is French Pop with Morrocan-style sounds. The compositions are intricate and rich in musical styles. Amir and the composers of this record did excellent work with the compositions, smoothly blending the musical style of French Pop music and Moroccan music.
The album has incredible semi-fast rhythms. Sommet starts slow, then boldly picks up in tempo. The music in the beginning reminds me of science-fiction movies for a brief moment. It has a dynamic sound. Ma Belle starts with an impressive guitar beat, blending Rap and Jazz. The music feels intense, representing heartbreak with an edgy sound. Dans Ta Tête has a smooth rhythm and bold Middle Eastern / Moroccan vibe. The darbakeh fade-out is a nice touch. La Paix ends the album on a positive note, with an upbeat sound. There’s good energy. The song has a hopeful and peaceful vibe.
The record has fantastic, fast-paced songs. Supernova has a lovely Moroccan vibe and a catchy beat. The song’s intense beat represents the confusion one feels when in love. Encore has an edgy beat, with musical sounds of East meets West. It has a powerful, passionate energy. It parallels Samira Said’s Ma Khalas (Not Enough) and Stromae’s Alors, On Dance (Then We Dance).
The ballads have incredible compositions that are rich in feeling. The tune Complémentaires has a relaxing and rhythmic beat. Like the song’s title, the guitar and piano complement each other, creating a beautiful harmony. Mal Agir (Featuring  Mark Eliyahu) has lovely music that parallels old-fashioned Arabic music from the 80s and 90s, especially the words of Amr Diab and the late Amer Mounib. The violin in the background creates a particular atmosphere. Au Matin Du Monde has a smooth rhythm that’s calm and consistent. The tempo is nice and wavy, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The guitar in the background for this piece feels intimate. Une Autre has a beautiful Spanish tango vibe, complementing the song’s wavy rhythm. The vibe is sensual, and the composition is phenomenal. 1er Slow has a romantic music vibe, with the guitar playing in the background. It parallels Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah (in the beginning). It’s a perfect song for a wedding. Parle-Moi has an incredible rhythmic sound. The tempo range is impressive, from slow to fast and vice-versa. The beats blend French and Moroccan musical styles.
The album has remarkable music, with credit to the fantastic composers.

Amir’s voice is husky and soulful. He sings each song with passion and from the heart. His voice is soft. Amir sings rhythmically and in sync with the vibe of each tune.

The lyrics are descriptive, profound and poetic. Amir and his songwriters did remarkable work writing these songs.

The soul-searching aspect of the album creates a personal feeling. Sommet (summit) is a fantastic song with an incredible message of perseverance – never to give up. That sense of determination is palpable. Mal Agir (behaving negatively) (Featuring  Mark Eliyahu) is a heartfelt and vulnerable song about the struggles of facing an existential crisis. It also covers identity, mental health and getting to know oneself. Au Matin Du Monde is a sweet, sentimental tune about the blessings in everyday life, such as appreciating the little things and family values. It’s an inspirational song about starting the day right. Amir beautifully honours his parents and his children. It’s the most heartwarming song in the album. La Paix is such a relevant song with today’s news. It has two messages: people want peace, but it seems to be all talk and no action, and the other one is all hope’s not lost. It’s also a positive reminder to care about one another with hope and faith.
The romantic tunes are heartfelt and sweet. The song Complémentaires (complimentary) tells a beautiful story of true love—two hearts beating as one. It also talks about being content with how things are. It’s a well-written poetic tune. Dans Ta Tête (in your head) is a sweet, romantic song from the heart. It’s filled with adventure. It’s impressive to hear French; then, he sings the chorus in Arabic. The piece has beautiful similes—it’s full of poetry. Une Autre (anyone else) is a distinctive piece about imagining being with anyone else is impossible. After meeting the love of one’s life, there’s a sense of hope — a unique way to express love. Encore (again) is a peculiar song about love and passion, possibly soulmates. The migraine simile is a strange way to describe intense love. 1er Slow (first slow) is a deep and heartfelt song about new beginnings, finding “the one,” and celebrating true love. It talks about an indescribable feeling (in a good way). However, some might describe it as nervous and excited at the same time.
Other tunes cover heartbreak with great depth. Ma Belle (My Beautiful) is a complex song about heartbreak, discussing the confusion and sadness that come with it. The tune discusses the struggle to accept this breakup. Supernova is a unique song about the uncertainty of where this new love is going. One can feel uncertain about whether to take a chance on this attraction. Parle-Moi (talk to me) is a poetic song about the grief of losing someone—vulnerable and profound. It’s a well-written tune.
The lyrics of each song are rich in language and poetic depth.
