This week, Jonny Zywiciel has released a new fantastic single entitled Back to Bliss. I’m excited every time he releases a new song. I admire his experimentation with his music, which is quite impressive.
Back to Bliss is a song that tells the story of a couple facing challenges in their relationship. The guy says to the woman he loves that their relationship needs saving.
The music has a jazz-like feel to it that he pulls off magnificently. The guitar, once again, has its presence in the song and compliments the music. This song is another example of how he experiments with his voice and continues to impress me.
His songs are available on iTunes. Enjoy!
Jonny Zywiciel has released another fantastic single entitled The Key. This tune is a love song with a beat that he has not previously done. Since the release of his first album, things are looking good for the young California artist. For the time being, he’s performing mainly in California and Nevada.
The song is about a who falls deeply in love with a girl, and he feels helpless. He asks the girl to consider the idea of a relationship with him. The story is simple but very relatable. One feels mixed emotions about love.
The melody is incredible. The rhythm of his voice is phenomenal. His voice reaches a high note in a well-done manner. I continue to be impressed by his music. The guitar can be heard in this song, which compliments Zywiciel’s voice.
I look forward to hearing more of his music in the future.
March 11, 2018, marks the 40th Anniversary of Claude François ‘ passing. I’m aware of the controversy surrounding this singer, especially having watched the movie Cloclo, the biopic. However, I would like to focus on his contribution to music.
Many of us are familiar with the song My Way by Frank Sinatra. What may not be known by many is that it was a remake of the song Comme D’Habitude by Claude François. Comme D’Habitude was an original of the late singer. Michel Sardou performed a remake that became famous. He also contributed to French music with remakes of hit songs in English song like Oh What a Night by the Four Seasons (Cette Année-La) & Massachusetts by the BeeGees (La plus belle chose du monde). The remake that I discovered recently was the song Je Vais A Rio, which was a remake of Peter Allen’s I Go To Rio. However, I know the remake performed by Wilfred LeBouthillier, Jean-Marc Couture & Bryan Audet for the 2014 World Cup in Rio De Janeiro. He did have original music, but he was mainly known for the French covers of English songs.
I learned about his life through the biopic Cloclo. Perceptions can vary in regards to him as a person. However, his music contributed to French music as well as American music.
Jonny Zywiciel has released two new singles since last year. The single I will discuss today is Happiest Man.
It’s a beautifully written song full of richness. The music compliments the lyrics very nicely. Jonny Zywiciel’s voice has improved in the last three years. He explores different tonalities with his voice. Impressive!!
I enjoyed listening to Happiest Man. It’s a song about a humble man who has found happiness with the woman of his dreams, which he couldn’t imagine. It’s sweet and simple. True love is a subject to which one can relate. It’s a song full of hope and joy.
I look forward to hearing more of Jonny Zywiciel’s music.
Silverdrive 35’s latest single Drunk on You is another fantastic hit for the Swedish group. Their music keeps getting better and better.
Drunk on You is a song that expresses how many of us feel when we find out news about an old flame. It tells the story of a guy who finds a picture of a past love online. He becomes curious she’s been up to since they last saw each other. He then has flashbacks of their time together, which has him wondering if he’d lost a chance at true love. He’s at a bar when he remembers his past love. The man could be drunk, or he’s drunk on the nostalgia.
The musical composition has a fantastic rhythm. Eli Stream’s powerful voice is unforgettable. The music of the guitar is lovely.
The Country music has its presence in this song, just like their previous singles.
I look forward to their first album. Silverdrive 35 has potential as a group. I hope to see someday them winning a Grammy. I wish them luck in their musical career.
