June 1, 2022, marks the 7th anniversary of MusiFlo. Every year, I want to take a moment to say thank you to my readers and followers on my various social media platforms, yearly. Thank you for being so supportive.
Writing reviews of the latest album or single is a joy for me. It’s a pleasure to encourage new emerging artists and those who have marked the music scene. The same goes for paying tribute to those we lost, from Freddie Mercury in November 2021 to more recently honouring the late Donna Summer and Bee Gees’ Robin Gibb, both who passed ten years ago. The work at MusiFlo means so much to me. I learned about different styles of music and the artists/bands, including the stories behind the songs- the personal touch.
Recently, I took time off in April for mental health. I’m doing okay now, thank God. From time to time, it’s essential to take a step back when it feels overwhelming, and the joy isn’t there. When I resumed my blog, I appreciated my work and learned to practice self-care. There’s no shame in taking a break or changing the route of your professional journey. Don’t give up on your dreams.
Music is a part of my life. I’m not a musician, but I am a fan of it. I listen to many artists, from Canada and all over the world. The diversity is incredible and inspires me every day to look for great music wherever I go.
I appreciate your support in the last seven years. I hope to continue to bring people together by sharing articles about exceptional talent.
Love you all,
Flora Youssef
