American Group Spring Owls has released a new EP entitled Love Evolving. The themes are love and dreams.

The music is Pop / Indie Folk Rock. The EP has an incredible range of musical styles – parallels the style of the 70s and 90s. The compositions are intricate and bold. The guitar throughout this record is fantastic.

All Here parallels Irish Folk music. It’s relaxing, as well as rich and rhythmic. It reminds me of the works by the Goo Goo Dolls. Bella parallels Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Under the Bridge and The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony. It also sounds similar to ABBA’s classic hit Fernando. The combination of the different styles is remarkable. The composition has a smooth wavy rhythm. Birth of Dreams reminds me of Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody right before the “I see a silhouette…” partbut with an Indie Rock Folk twist. Age the Heart has a sound that parallels Green Day’s Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) with a more upbeat sound, however. Love Evolving parallels Bastian Baker’s single Song About A Priest but with a happier tone.

The EP has an impressive variety of musical styles.

Jesse Lacy’s voice is bold and rhythmic. He sings with incredible style and grace. He performs his songs with heart and soul.

The lyrics are deep and soulful. Each song is poetic with impressive freestyle poetry. There’s a beautiful use of imagery throughout the EP. The songs are well-written and intricate.

All Here is about being happy with what you have and living in the moment. It’s about how every day is a chance to do better.

The song Age the Heart is about what the heart goes through to evolve as a person. It’s a relatable and powerful piece.

Bella is a lovely and poetic piece. The words are romantic and from the heart with beautiful, profound poetry.

Birth of Dreams is a beautiful metaphor for life’s endless possibilities and getting rest when needed. The simplicity is incredible as it uses a linguistics style that requires deep thinking – it’s calming and relaxing.

Love Evolving is an incredible piece about personal growth through various life events, including love and heartbreak. Life is about constant change and adaptation- it’s a symbolic take on living life and how love never dies.

The songs are well-written and have great use of language and poetry.

The EP Love Evolving is available.
