Egyptian singer Amr Diab has released a new single entitled El Donia El Helwa (Life is beautiful).
The music is Arabic Pop. Aziz El Shafei composed the song with impressive rhythm and style. The Dance beat gives it a Summer vibe. The drums and darbakeh add the touch of Classical Arabic combined nicely with Western music. It parallels Amr Diab’s 2020 album Sahran like Sahran (I’m awake), Mahragan (An event), Bahebo (I love her). The composition has an incredible structure start slow to then increasing gradually in tempo. There’s also an impressive transition in the speed of the music from the verse to the chorus.
Amr Diab’s voice is fantastic and bold. He sounds cheerful and enthusiastic about life. His vocal style is rhythmic within a remarkable vocal range.
The lyrics are cheerful and optimistic, which is essential in challenging times. Tamer Hussien wrote the song that teaches us to appreciate life. There’s a sense of community. The rhyme style combination of ABAB and AABB is impressive and structure in a well-written fashion. The chorus has five lines rhyming together then two others on their own. The repetition is well-structured and emphasizes the importance of embracing life and every little moment. The words flow smoothly, just like the way one should live life. Well done!
