Christmas during COVID-19
Christmas this year was different because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of us couldn’t see our families due to restrictions. Celebrations have changed this year, where people are doing meetings virtually through various applications.
Also, listening to Christmas music for me felt extra significant this year and gave me comfort during the lockdowns here in Quebec, Canada, including another one starting today. It’s not easy, but we can get through this.
Stay safe, everyone!

This second annual 12 Days of Christmas special has been an interesting one, where I discovered Christmas that I didn’t know about, such as This Christmas and Mary Did You Know. It was impressive to hear the different music styles of the covers of Christmas classics. It was also fantastic to hear original material by artists. Some of the songs covered Christmas during COVID-19; others focused on appreciating the meaning of Christmas and the happy times with loved ones.
I appreciated this 12 Days of Christmas special because it brought me comfort through these strange times. I guess many of us can’t wait to say GOODBYE to 2020, but it’s essential to appreciate the good times and memories to transition into a new year.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year 2021!
