The music is Holiday Pop and Classical. The piano in the background honours the romantic Christmas feel. The vibe is intimate dinner and holidays by the fireplace, which is cozy and relaxing. The compositions follow the old-fashioned Christmas music primarily but also have a lovely contemporary twist. I love the nostalgic feel to the record. It’s the case with the song On A Night Like This, which reminds me of  I Can Go The Distance from the film Hercules, except with a slower rhythm and no drums. The same goes for the tunes Over The Rainbow and White Christmas. The rhythm is smooth and easy to follow. The quality is top-notch in the sound and the structure.

Chris Mann’s voice is soft and sweet. He honours Christmas with covers of Christmas classics, which he sings beautifully. His vocal range is impressive, including when he sings with an operatic note. He hits each note with precision and a bold style. There are two lovely duets in this album: one with Martina McBride (Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas) & another with Mindi Abair (Auld Lang Syne). In both cases, the artists’ voices compliment each other nicely. His version of White Christmas is smooth and performed with a softer and more acute vocal style. He interprets Over The Rainbow with a jazzier sound and a pleasant wavy rhythm in his voice. He sings each song with heart and soul.

My favourite songs are I’ll Be Home for ChristmasHave Yourself A Merry Little Christmas (with Martina McBride), Over The Rainbow and White Christmas.
