In 2019, Chris Mann released a Christmas EP entitled Christmas Jukebox EP. The record consists of three original songs and two covers.
The music is Holiday, Pop/Retro Pop, and Electronic Dance. The EP has five songs with music full of holiday love and joy. The compositions are remarkable and intricate, with catchy beats. Bravo to Chris Mann and Ethan Roberts! The dance aspect of these pieces adds a modern touch to the EP. For dancing, this record will work fine at parties, for example, the song Up on the Housetop. It has an electric beat distinct from the rest of the EP – with a modern sound that contrasts to the original version. Then, it ends on a slow-pace with the classic Auld Lang Syne. It reminds me of the end of the holiday party when it’s late, and people say goodbye to one another (when it’s not during a pandemic).
Chris Mans’s voice is bold, incredible and joyful. He captures the Christmas vibe in a new dynamic manner. He sings from the heart and with enthusiasm.
The three original songs Happy Holidays, Christmas Love, and Drink It Up, have well-written lyrics. The track Happy Holidays is about spreading cheer to others during the festive season – full of positivity and Christmas joy. Christmas Love is a romantic tune about spending time with a significant other. Drink It Up is an incredible song about partying and having a good time.
