Canadian signers Kalsey Kulyk and Eric Ethridge have released a single entitled Breathe Again, featuring Paul Cardall. The song is celebrating the 120th Anniversary of Breathe: The Lung Association. It’s also about the eventual relief of pain (either from a breakup or physical pain).
The music is Country music. The ballad is smooth and calming. The composition is incredible and well-structured. The beat compliments the vibe of the song nicely. Paul Cardall plays the piano phenomenally with a beautiful rhythm. The musical structure parallels classic Country songs by Dolly Parton, including I Will Always Love You.
Kalsey Kulyk and Eric Ethridge’s voices are in sync with one another. They sing from the heart as well as with compassion and empathy. Kalsey Kulyk’s voice sounds incredible and reminds me of Dolly Parton’s singing.
The lyrics are hopeful and inspirational. The song covers the topic of breathing again from the pain (emotional or physical). The words are well-written in giving a message of hope in overcoming hardships and heartbreak. The lyrics are full of positivity, which is comforting during hard times.
The single Breathe Again is available.
