Syrian singer Nassif Zeytoun has a new single out entitled Faregouni (They Separated Me). It’s about a man who has dealt with separation by reasons beyond his control.

The music genre is Arabic Pop. Faregouni is a song composed by Adham. The beat of the single alternates between slow and fast, giving it an effect of emotional distress. The darbakeh and the violin complement this result nicely. The composition is excellent and sounds like the music of the Gulf region of the Middle East.

Nassif Zeytoun has a deep voice, similar to how people in the Gulf region speak. He sings with Gulf dialect impressively. He follows the rhythm of the song very well.

The lyrics are well-written, clearly expressing frustration and heartache. Adnan Al-Amir wrote Faregouni.  The rhymes happen in the same line of verse in lovely freestyle poetry. The words have a natural flow to them that leads up to the last verse, which is an afterthought. The last lines of the song express the pain felt by the situation in question.

The single Faregouni is now available.
