Day 3:  Brad Paisley – Snow Globe Town

American singer Brad Paisley released a new Christmas album, Snow Globe Town. There are eight original songs and eight covers of Christmas classics.

I recently saw the film A Grand Ole Opry Christmas, in which Brad Paisley made a cameo appearance. Also, two of his songs are mentioned in the movie (Falling Just Like The Snow and Leave the Christmas Lights On for Me). It’s a Christmas movie I recommend. Now, I digress back to discussing Brad Paisley’s Christmas album.

The music Country and Holiday. The album is full of holiday cheer with a Country twist. The energy this record has is incredible.

There are eight original songs. Plug It In, Sparky is a lovely musical intro to Brad Paisley’s Christmas album. Counting Down the Days is an upbeat, cheerful song. The guitar adds a dynamic touch, along with sleigh bells. It definitely feels festive.

Snow Globe Town is the first lovely ballad of the album. It has soothing music. The rhythm is beautifully whimsical, creating a magical vibe. It feels festive.

That Crazy Elf (On The Shelf) is an upbeat and fun song. It’s perfect for dancing. The Country beat has a bold presence. It’s a tune that brings people together, creating a joyful atmosphere.

Falling Just Like The Snow is a soothing ballad that feels nice and cosy. The violin adds a nice touch. It parallels some of the Christmas classics, such as The Christmas Song and Blue Christmas.

The piece Lit starts slowly, then boldly picks up the tempo. It gives the impression that it’s cosy until the sudden change in beat. The composition is impressive in its structure.

Leave The Christmas Lights On For Me has a dynamic, upbeat sound with a wavy rhythm. The song has beautiful music, featuring incredible guitar and violin.

Last Year (feat. Kelleigh Bannen) features music that represents that bittersweet feeling of the holiday season. The piano and guitar are incredible in this piece.

This Christmas album also has renditions of the classics, such as

The Christmas Song and O Holy Night can evoke nostalgia.

The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire) has a lovely blend of piano and violin. The song My Favourite Songs has an impressive Country spin. It feels cosy and personal. It nicely honours the movie The Sound of Music. Jingle Bell Rock has a contemporary twist with a bold energy in this rendition of the holiday classic. Marshmallow World, on the record, has a nice Country touch. It has a cheerful vibe. The First Noël follows the composition of the original version, with a lovely guitar playing in the background. O Holy Night starts with a lengthy, but beautiful instrumental intro. It feels relaxing, then smoothly transitions into “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town,” which is incredible on this record, thanks to its contemporary sounds. The violin is a nice touch. This rendition of Christmas Time’s A-Coming ends the album on a happy note.

Brad Paisley’s voice is husky and soft. He sings each song with heart and soul, especially the original pieces. He has a dynamic spin for his renditions of the holidays. Brad Paisley did an excellent job performing the original pieces and the renditions of the classics.

There’s an incredible duet with singer Kelleigh Bannen performing the song Last Year. They sang beautifully in sync, both capturing the challenges that some may face during Christmas time.
