I returned from vacation this week. I went on a lovely Mediterranean cruise. During this cruise, one of the performances in the ship’s main theatre was a show by Italian musician Arthur Picari. On June 9, 2024, the last day of my cruise, I attended Arthur Picari’s show. Watching his last show on the cruise MSC Armonia was a blessing. He came into the theatre playing a tuba from the back of the theatre, heading towards the stage – a bold introduction.

The show was fantastic. Arthur Picari covered Italian classics, American classics, and original material. With his phenomenal voice, he pours his heart and soul into each musical number, creating an incredible, dynamic energy. It was also lovely to have images on the screen, including various Italian cities behind the artist. The vibe was upbeat and dynamic. He was incredible at playing the piano, tuba, etc., and would play the instrument(s) and sing simultaneously. His cover of We No Speak Americano was fun and unique. He ended the show on a lovely note with a rendition of When the Saints Go Marching In.
I wish Arthur Picari a successful career as a musician. I look forward to hearing more of your music.
All the best,
Flora Youssef
