
On September 11, 2022, the 2022 CCMA Awards (Canadian Country Music Association Awards) took place, hosted by Tenille Townes and Blanco Brown. The performances by the artists were outstanding and memorable.

*Jade Eagleson – She Don’t Know
His performance of his single She Don’t Know was touching and profound.
*James Barker Band – Wastin’ Whiskey
What a fantastic performance by the James Barker Band- they sang incredibly.
*Bailey Zimmerman – Rock and a Hard Place
He sang his single Rock and a Hard Place with heart and soul. His performance reminded me of those by Jonathan Roy and Nickleback.
*A Medley of Canadian Country Hits celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the CCMAs:
Five Artists performed famous songs that marked the history of Canadian Country Music. Each Artist gave their take on Canadian Country Classics while honouring the Country Legends.

*Brett Kissel & 98 Degrees Ain’t The Same
It was an epic duet that combined two musical genres: Country and Pop.
*Blanco Brown I’ll Never
He gave a touching performance of his romantic single I’ll Never.
His singing style parallels Boyz II Men’s, but with a Country twist.
*High Valley – Whatever It Takes
The performance of their romantic song was upbeat and cheerful.
* Dax Dear Alcohol
It was a heartfelt performance that expressed the vulnerability of a challenging subject of the struggles with alcohol.
*Gord Bamford & Meghan Patrick I Ain’t Drunk
An entertaining performance. There’s humour within the dynamic performance.
* Brett Kissel Our Home
He gave a moving performance that felt intimate, full of heart and soul. Sharing a personal story made the performance even more touching.
*Tenille Townes – The Last Time
The 2022 CCMA Awards ended with an emotional performance of Tenille Townes’s single, The Last Time. She concluded the evening nicely.
