Day 2: Pentatonix – Evergreen

The acapella group Pentatonix has a new Christmas album out entitled Evergreen. It has acapella covers of Christmas classics, such as Frosty The Snowman, We Wish You A Merry Christmas, along with Wonderful Christmastime (Paul McCartney and Wings), and I Just Called to Say I Love You.

The music is acapella/Christmas Pop. Listening to this Christmas album feels like a concert in a small venue, giving it a cozy feel. The compositions are incredible and refreshing. They offer the record dynamic, new and bold sounds, another way to enjoy the holiday festivities. Pentatonix and the musicians did excellent work honouring classic Christmas hits while having their musical style successfully. The rhythm is smooth and wavy. There’s an impressive collaboration with violinist Lindsey Stirling with the song Over The River. Lindsey Stirling plays her violin incredibly and with passion. The musicians did an incredible job and complemented the acapella music.

The members of Pentatonix have an impressive vocal range, and their voices complement one another, singing in perfect harmony. A lovely duet with Alessia Cara performing a classic hit Frosty The Snowman that is cheerful. Alessia Cara did an incredible job performing Frosty The Snowman with a fantastic vocal range and beautiful softness. Pentatonix performed in the background. Their vocal styles compliment each other well.
