From May 22 to May 24, Nicola Ciccone held a concert for his album Les Immortelles (The immortals). The show took place virtually through the services of Live Dans Ton Salon. Peter Ranallo, the pianist at the event, played the piano beautifully. Nicola Ciccone performed each song with grace and elegance.
He gave lovely speeches a few times throughout the virtual concert. He talked about how his love for French music developed because of a girl he liked, which was cute. There was an element of surprise before Nicola Ciccone performed Jacques Brel’s Ne Me Quitte Pas (Don’t Leave Me). That’s when he mentioned he listened to Rock music before he discovered this famous French song. He showed humility throughout this concert, mainly when he talked about growing up in the Little Italy area of Montreal.
He again honoured the legendary French singers, an homage to Jacques Brel.
My favourite moment is when he honoured his late father, who appreciated a particular song entitled L’Italien (The Italian).
The virtual show ended on a heartwarming note thanking his crew and the technicians.
