Single Saturdays: Nassif Zeytoun – Takke

Nassif Zeytoun has a single with a new electric beat called Takke (translation coming soon). It’s a love song that describes the passionate love the main character feels for his significant other.

The music combination is Arabic Pop mixed with Rap and Dance. The verses have a slow beat, while the chorus has a faster pace with a stop effect. It’s unique in comparison to the other Arabic singles released this Summer. It’s impressive the mix of the Middle Eastern flavour and Western-style music.

Nassif Zeytoun’s silvery voice has a fast rhythm and switches to a slower tempo when he sings the chorus.

The lyrics are simple but say so much romantically with a freestyle poetic structure AAAB. The words are similar to a song from Nassif Zeytoun’s 2016 album Ya Samt entitled Bi Rabbek. Deaa Asha wrote the lyrics of Takke. The use of repetition is a technique that Nassif Zeytoun uses to emphasize the feeling of love. Freestyle writing gives the song a nice touch to it.

The single Takke is now available.
