This week music has lost another artist, Chris Cornell. He was the vocalist for Soundgarden and Audioslave. I admit I’m not familiar with his music, but I learned about his impact on the grunge music scene. He leaves behind an amazing legacy.
I heard clips of some of his songs since the news of his passing on May 18, 2017. It’s hard to believe that his passing was ruled a suicide,. Some say he was dealing with mental illness. The information I heard is subject to change as this news is still new. What’s certain is that I pray for his loved ones during this difficult time.
I would like to talk about his voice and his music. His voice sounded incredible and versatile. I heard a few hits from the group Soundgarden. Wow! My favourite songs are Black Hole Sun & Live to Rise.
