Lebanese singer Carole Samaha released a new single, Ya Hazzy (my luck or chance). The song is about a woman who found true love after having been through so much.
The music is Arabic Pop. The song features a smooth, wavy rhythm. Jad Shwery & Mohamed Nassar did an excellent job creating a lovely composition. The beat is energetic, capturing the wonderful, joyful feeling of finding true love. The fast-paced beats after the chorus remind me of a heart beating fast when you’re first attracted to someone, making it relatable and heartfelt. Alexandre Missakian did remarkable work arranging this song, along with great mixing and mastering by Hany Mahrous. The instruments in this lovely tune sound like traditional Middle Eastern instruments, such as the lute, creating a Tarab vibe. It has a Summer beach vibe, like sitting by the beach or walking around a city near the Mediterranean- maybe even during a honeymoon.
Carole Samaha’s voice is soft and joyful. Her tone is loving, hopeful and confident. She has an impressive vocal range, singing softly during the verses and gradually hitting a couple of high notes, expressing peace of mind and happiness.
The lyrics are romantic and rich in poetry. Mohamed Nassar did a remarkable job writing the song with heart and soul. The tune captures the feeling of being loved and blessed. It inspires hope that true love is out there, and that the wait was worth it. The song also captures that moment when everything feels like it is falling into place, the way it’s meant to be. It teaches us to let go of the past and make space for the good coming our way. The tune packs so much meaning with the “a little goes a long way” technique, which is impressive. It beautifully expresses feelings of love, respect, trust, and hope. The verses are beautifully detailed, complemented by a simplistic but impactful chorus. The lyrical balance is well-thought-out. Ya Hazzy is an inspirational song that conveys that sense of hope when finding “the one.”
The single Ya Hazzy is available.
