Halfway Through Summer 2026

As this article is posted, I’m at the end of my trip. It’s been a great Summer so far, especially after a month of watching the 2026 FIFA World Cup and two weeks of Wimbledon. My apologies for not writing as many articles in July. It was busy personally (being on vacation) and because of those sporting events.

I admit, at times, I was struggling to find inspiration. However, I allowed myself to rest so I could provide you all with articles about songs and albums that I take pleasure in suggesting. It’s partially why I didn’t post as much. The time off I took helped remedy that for the next month. However, I did have a couple of anniversary articles that were a joy to work on: The Spice Girls’ single Wannabe (30th Anniversary) and Cutting Crew’s single (I Just) Died in Your Arms (40th Anniversary). I loved paying homage to these timeless songs.

We are now in August, and I have a lot of material I look forward to writing about, mostly the latest music and maybe some musical milestones. I’m currently taking time off. I just wanted to take another moment to thank you all, my fellow readers.

Enjoy the rest of your summer.
