In honour of my 35th birthday, I want to thank my readers and followers for their support.
My goal for this blog is to discover the hidden gems of music. However, I also want to introduce myself. I’m Flora Youssef, and I’ve been writing this blog since 2015. Writing about music became a passion of mine. Next year, the 10th anniversary will be held in June. I live in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I was born and raised in Canada and am of Arab origin. I’m currently studying creative writing in continuing education while working part-time. I manage my social media feed, so feel free to DM me.
It has been a joy to share my discoveries and honour musical milestones. My taste in music seems different from others. I listen to British, Francophone, European, Middle Eastern, and some American music. I also listen to Queen, ABBA, The Beatles, and the Bee Gees. I like having a diverse selection of music, depending on my mood. Sometimes, I want to mix it up by playing oldies with new stuff to enjoy a fun musical variety – past and present.
