November 1, 2024, is the 30th anniversary of Mariah Carey’s single All I Want For Christmas Is You. This song is synonymous with Christmas and its festivities. It’s a 90s classic and one of my favourite Christmas songs. Five years I did an article honouring the 25th anniversary of Mariah Carey’s Christmas album. This year, I want to pay homage again, honouring her single All I Want For Christmas Is You.
The music is Pop. This song starts with the famous xylophone sound that one can easily recognize whenever anyone hears it. It’s upbeat and cheerful. Every time I hear this song, I want to dance, and when I’m at home, I get to do so with so much joy. The composition is fantastic-gradual and creates excitement and a romantic vibe. It rings the holiday season beautifully.
